Overwolf is the all-in-one platform for mods and gaming-focused apps, offering apps ranging from gameplay recording platforms like ours to in-depth statistical tracking such as the Tracker Network's suite of game-specific tools! There's a very large range of apps available for all sorts of games, so we highly recommend you take a look if you're not familiar with the Overwolf platform!
Can I use Insights Capture without Overwolf?
Why do I need Overwolf for Insights Capture?
Insights Capture utilizes a majority of the powerful tools and systems provided by Overwolf to function! These systems range from the OBS client packaged in with Overwolf, to the "Game Event" system which allows us to detect specific stats and other cool things about the game you're playing.
If we didn't use Overwolf, we would need to spend a lot of time in R&D building each of the core features of Overwolf that we use, which would mean less cool and exciting features for you!
