Introducing Shards on V3

Hello Insights Community,

Today, we are excited to introduce the new Shards Program on Insights Capture V3, our standalone app.

Shards is our way of giving back to the community that makes Insights possible.

Simply put:

Record your gameplay, earn Shards, and redeem gift cards.

A Quick Look Back:

If you have been with us for a while, you might remember an earlier version of this system in V2, our native Overwolf app. Back then, folks earned points just for recording gameplay.

The response was incredible. Thousands of you redeemed gift cards over the years, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

That success led us to ask a bigger question:

How can we help players earn even more, while building something truly meaningful?

Rebuilding Shards

Over the past year, our team has been planning the next chapter of Insights. And over the last 12 months, we started seeing real breakthroughs in AI. Real technology. That pushed us to think bigger.

What if Insights could become the best toolset for:

• Montage creation
• Smart clipping
• Gameplay coaching
  

All three require something very specific: a deep understanding of real gameplay. And that is where you come in.

Training a Smarter Insights

Our long-term goal is to build a system that can watch gameplay the way a great player or coach would. One that can identify critical moments, mistakes worth reviewing, and highlights worth sharing. And to do that, the system needs to watch and learn from real gameplay.

The new Shards Program is designed to power that future, while rewarding you far more generously for participating. With the new system, users can earn 50x to 1000x more Shards simply by uploading gameplay.

Here’s how it works:

• Record your games as usual
• When you exit the game, uploads happen automatically
• No manual steps required

You play. Insights handles the rest.

Beta Period and Your Feedback

We are running the Shards Program as a 1-month beta

This period is all about learning. Your feedback will help us shape how this program evolves, whether you love it, hate it, or want changes.

Participation is completely optional.

You can opt in when the prompt appears, or anytime via:

Settings → App → Shards Program

Insights has always been shaped by its community, and this is no different.
