Launching Our Next Chapter: V3

Today is a moment our team has been working toward for a long time, and I couldn’t be more excited to finally share it: Insights.gg is officially live with our new stand-alone game capture called V3.

This launch represents the biggest step forward for Insights since we first launched publicly in 2021. But more importantly, it represents what’s possible when a passionate community of gamers, helps shape the future of a product they believe in.

Over the last month, thousands of you jumped into our Beta, stress-tested new features, shared feedback, and helped us prioritize refinements that made the platform stronger before today’s global release, and along the way you showed why you are the best community of players any developer could ask for. You didn’t just try the Beta, you actively helped guide it. On behalf of our entire team, thank you.

Our mission has always been simple: help gamers relive, review, and celebrate the moments that matter most. Over time, that mission has grown alongside our community. Today, nearly a quarter million players around the world use Insights every day, capturing more than 8 million minutes of gameplay and rewatching millions more. The desire to revisit, learn from, and share epic gameplay moments is at the heart of why this launch matters.

With today’s release, Insights now runs as its own stand-alone platform, rebuilt from the ground up for performance. The new app delivers full-session recording across any PC game, flexible capture modes that adapt to how you play, and a re-engineered experience designed to minimize system impact because every frame matters.

As you know from playing the Beta, we’re officially introducing Timeline, a new way to experience your gameplay. Timeline automatically marks key moments like kills, deaths, and objectives, making it easy to jump straight to the action, analyze decisions, or relive clutch plays. Paired with Highlight Mode, it transforms long sessions into a focused replay of what mattered most.

What makes this launch special isn’t just the technology, it’s what comes next. In 2026, we’ll introduce a new and improved rewards program, mobile access, and social spaces designed to bring your gaming moments even closer to the people you play with.

This platform was built with you, not just for you. And today’s launch belongs to our entire community.
