Recording Valorant gameplay can be a fun and useful tool for players, whether you’re looking to evaluate and improve your gameplay, create content, or simply share your experiences with others. Insights Capture allows you to easily record Valorant gameplay without hassle. Here are the simple steps to get started:

Step 1

The first step is to download game recorder Insights Capture, follow through with the installation and onboarding process, and set up your video quality settings according to your requirements to record Valorant gameplay. You can also customize hotkeys within the settings.

Step 2

Start Valorant and Insights Capture will automatically start as well. You will see the “Insights Capture Is Active” overlay on the top right of the in-game screen.

Step 3

This Insights clip recorder allows you to record gameplay in three ways.

  • Pressing the hotkey will start recording. The default hotkey is set to F7, but you can customize this in the settings. To stop recording, you will have to press the hotkey again.
  • The second way is the automatic detection feature of Insights Capture, which automatically starts recording when the match starts and stops when it ends.
  • The third option is Instant Replay, which allows you to save a selected duration of gameplay. The default hotkey for this feature is F6. You can enable Instant Replay from the Settings menu under Recording > Enable Instant Replay. You can also customize the duration of the replay to be saved. This feature is particularly useful if you don’t need to record the entire match but want to capture a specific moment.

Step 4

The overlay at the top right of the screen will indicate that the recording has started. You can start or stop recording by pressing the Start/stop recording hotkey.

Step 5

Insights Capture will automatically display the latest saved recording when you open it (the hotkey to open it is Alt + H by default). You’ll automatically be taken to the Insights Capture dashboard once the game is closed.
